Feb 2015. This is a land slip on one of our steeper hills. From memory, the slip occurred in late spring of 2013. Had a busy year in 2014, so it was 2015 before we really got our act together to do something about it.
May 2015. My mother Sheila, aged 82, putting in some seed from native grasses in the hope they would take. (no luck)
Aug 2016. I'd put in some red gum seedlings the previous August 2015, then with a grant from NRM - (thanks Tom Brookman) !! - we fenced the area off in November 2015, and got ready to do a big planting to stabilise the whole area.
August 17th 2016. Perfect weather for a day with friends planting native shrubs, sedges and trees in an area of the property needing to be stabilised. So lucky to have a grant through NRM, and to have Josh Noble and his amazing team out there showing us the way!
